Observed in a cottonwood/willow forest near the Bill Williams River northwest of Parker, Arizona, on March 29, 2013.

Observed in a cottonwood/willow forest near the Bill Williams River Road, northwest of Parker, Arizona, on March 29, 2013. This beetle has a very hard exoskeleton and reportedly may live for 8 years or more
